Cyanide is the 3rd site that Shini has owned. The first being a simple site under the name Sacred Neo. SN was created back in 2004, but didn't last long at all. After a long break, during which Shini practiced her coding and graphics making, Solitary Power was opened in late 2007. 'Officially', it opened on New Years Eve, but it had been lurking around for a fair few months before.

Solitary Power lived a life of 9th months and specialised in Anime and Game graphics for neopets and the web. Due to beginning college though, Shini decided she didn't have the time to keep up with such a big site. After a month of pondering she finally decided to close Solitary Power. Not wanting to stop graphics and web design though, she created Cyanide and coded it with the help from her friend, the one and only CSS Ninja. The name, 'Cyanide', is also the title of the 3rd track upon Metallica's 2008 album, Death Magnetic.

Shini is an eighteen year old girl living in little old England and is currently a student in her local college. She is studying Geology and Geography at A2 level and AS Maths and Biology. In 2011, she hopes to go to university to study either Geology/Geoscience or Paleaontology. If it weren't for college, she would probably live at the computer all day playing RPGs and listening to rock music and heavy metal... though with her short attention span, she'd probably pass out thanks to boredom after a single week week. Despite loving manga, Shini is also quite the bookworm; one who has an obsession with Assassins and Medieval Fantasy.

Shini hates the summer, but loves the winter and would much rather run around bare foot in the snow than go to the beach. (Summer holidays are also far, far too long). After all, snow doesn't leave you with sand in your socks for the next millenia to come, does it? She also love shiny rocks, fossils, woods, walking, cute kittens and big dogs; namely Huskies and Malamutes. If she could go anywhere in the world, she would be stuck choosing between Germany, Canada, Iceland and Japan. Given the chance, she would also live on Cinnamon Milkshake, Gingerbread Latte, Turkish Delight, Udon and Chinese Stir-fry.

September '08 - December '08

Rebirth was Cyanide's first layout. The layout features Uryu Ishida from Tite Kubo's manga, Bleach. The colours used are soft blues and browns, giving the layout a somewhat wintery feel. The layout was coded so that it was a centered divider layer... and my was it difficult to code. I owe a big thank you to a friend who saved my horrid attempt at coding it and made it work.

December '08 - Jan '09

New Era was Cyanide's second layout. At first, I really loved this layout. The grey and teal and the starry dust textures gave it a lovely sci-fi feel. After a short while, however, I began to really dislike it. No matter what I did, the header pattern looked odd to me; the green colouring seemed a little bland, and I grew to deteste the coding. As a result, New Era was my shortest lived layout yet. Looking back at it now, however, I'm beginning to like it again. There was something quite magical about it.

Jan '09 - March '09

Stairway to Heaven was Cyanide's third layout. The layout features enviroment concept artwork from the game Prince of Persia. Though I wasn't too keen on this layout, it lasted fairly long... The background and colours weren't exactly favourites of mine, but the image was one I'd always wanted to use. With a few textures (and my favourite little stars) placed over it carefully, it was even more fairytale like. It's just a shame I didn't do the artwork better justice.

March '09 - 7th July '09

Chimera is Cyanide's fourth layout. The layout features Alucard from Kouta Hirano's manga, Hellsing. Out of Cyanide's first four layouts, this has to be the least dark and eerie... colourwise, at least. The soft grey, but bright red and lime green work really well together with the odd hints of black and grey. The layout was designed to be similar to my first ever layout, and in some ways it was similar. In others, however, it was unique. If it wasn't for version 5, this would be my favourite layout yet.

7th July '09 - 28th February '10

Eon Blue Apocalypse was Cyanide's fifth layout... and, to date, it is also my favourite site layout so far. ♥
