Unfortunately, there are no posts available for any dates before 7th July '09. The reason for this, you ask? All updates from September 08 (when Cyanide opened) and onwards were in cutenews, and after getting fed up with cutenews (finally) I deleted it without thinking to save any past updates. That's how much of a silly Shini I am.

I come bearing goodies and gifts for you all, for my hiatus has ended... for now. I won't get everyone's hopes up one hundred percent because I have exams in January and need to study for those, but after that I should hopefully be less dead and more active. But less of that, eh? :D

I hope you're all having a lovely holiday! It's probably the first time I've seen snow before Christmas over here. It's absolutely awesome! >3< I'm too much of a big kid. As well as gawking at that, I've been baking en-mass. 40 mince pies. Can't go wrong with that... right? XD They seem to be vanishing at an alarming rate, minds. I might have to make some more...

I'm planning on changing the main layout in a few months... probably February time. I still love this one, so I shan't replace it just yet. Instead I'll focus more upon adding content.

I found the ability to make icons again, so I now drown you with 50 of those. 83 The series varies, but amongst them are Bleach, The Breaker, Air Gear and Fullmetal Alchemist icons. Maybe I made too many? Hehe. I've also added a few bases (no surprise) from random series'. If anyone has any requests for bases, please do say! I'll see what I can do. ^^

I've also added 17 Transparent PNGs; some of which are fairly big, so they should come in handy for making larger graphics such as wallpapers and the likes. As with the icon bases, feel free to make requests. I find extracting images to be oddly fun.

Last, but not least, I've added one large texture, and brush set. The brushes are icon brushes (I swear my handwriting is usually tidier than that) but could be ideal for anything, really. They were fun to make and I should hopefully have some more icon textures up soon as well. :)

I've technically been on Hiatus since the middle of September, but after feeling lazy I've decided to make it more official. Cyanide is on an open hiatus. The site will still be accessible, but I'm afraid that due to having started up college again, I'm less able to update. I've more work that I had last year (probably thanks to starting maths) and it's really tying me down. =\

Not to worry, though! Cyanide will remain open, and I shall eventually update once more with graphics. Maybe next time I have a holiday, perhaps?

I've really fallen into a rut this time with graphics making and updating. =x I've been ready to update for over a week now but just haven't been able to motivate myself to do so. I feel really bad for leaving people hanging. So, here I am! If I had to make up a bunch of excuses as I always do I'd blame several things. I have an on off cold that won't go away, and until I got my exam results back the other week I had worry biting at my neck all of the time. I'm still sort of panicky now in case I don't get onto the two courses I'd like to start in place of the ones I'd dropped. Lastly, though, I'm just bored. I hate holidays. I always have. I'll not go into detail... all in all, I really just want to get back to college and do something again before my brain turns mushy and green.

All that over, though, I have good news! The results for The Grand Tourney are finally out! Winners and participants probably already know everything as mailing them was one thing I /wasn't/ lazy about. After the success of the tournament, I'm thinking of holding another contest. But the judging! It's so difficult and disheartening. D: Anyone's who's had to judge probably understands how it is. Here are our three victors, however! The judges favourite, in third place was Rinku. In second place was Mao, and in first place was Justin who was also the public's favourite. For the full breakdown of all the scores, look here. Congratulations and thank you to all who took park! Prizes shall be on their way soon. =3

I bring some new additions as well, though I'm afraid this is more of a resources dump than a graphics dump. I've been unable to make icons at all lately. Everything I try turns out wrong. D: Hopefully it'll pass... If not, I'm going to be doomed to making layouts for the rest of eternity. (Which, unlike icons, I have to code. x_x). Oh joys... Here be the updates though! Do enjoy!

The wallpaper is made with the header from the 'Purify' layout. Someone jabbed me and asked me to make it into a wallpaper for them, so I decided I would. I love it anyway. :D I've three more layouts one the way. Two are in the process of being coded, and the third is sitting around waiting for me to do something with it. I may try code a table layout, even if I do think they're evil.

It's 2 AM though. And I'm tired and need sleep. I shall finish this update later...

I said later. ^^; Didn't actually say what day later was, though, did I? -hides- I might have gotten a little distracted, but here's the rest of the update! And it's not much... just a big HELLO to new link exchanges... and there are many. I'm quite surprised at how many people have been applying lately. 3rd September '09: Replaced actions with PSDs. The actions were a bit out dated and some didn't work.

Okay, so I was mean and I lied... I really don't know where my time went. Or, rather, I do. I'm just making excuses aren't I? Hehe. I've spent most of the last week feeling under the weather (I think I had a cold) but that's more or less passed now. I've also been running around wasting time here and there either being hyper thanks to coffee and Magic Stars, by listening to music, or by watching a super crazy but amazing Drum Battle over and over again. I can't decide who I like better... probably Sully because he sings as well. I want a drum kit even more now...
Still, I imagine playing for almost eight minutes straight must be painful. Maybe they should sell workout DVDs? xD I'll stop rambling now. Hehe.

Any ways, I make up for my abscense with lots of shiny goodies for you all! Firstly I'll plug several new link exchanges I have, because I really didn't get a chance to welcome them properly last time. Any way, give a big hello to; Naru, Lacus, Sokymo, Linda and Carol!

At the moment, I'm going through everything on Cyanide and fixing up new previews. So far I've only jabbed at those for icon textures, but I might change the colouring a bit... depends how not lazy I am. 0= Pages are also on my little list of things to do; I really hate how the wallpapers and layouts look so as soon as I muster up the courage I shall try code some sort of fancy looking display. Emphasis upon the try. I'll probably fail with flying colours. ^^

Onto proper updates, though, because I bring so many I am going to keep it simple for the most part. In all I have added;

I've no icons to add for once, which may be a bit of a surprise. I've just not been able to really make anything that looks decent, and adding only the one seems a little silly. As soon as I get out of layout making mode, I'll probably fall back into old habits.
Speaking of icons, Iconatarded has a super spiffy new layout. :D Check it out!

So the update finally comes! This was pretty much unplanned... I started throwing this together the other day with the idea of it being a premade, but I loved it too much and it ended up becoming a new layout for Cyanide. It certainly did prove (and still is proving) to be a bit of a swine though. I've had to juggle a lot of the links around so I really do apologise if everything is impossible to find. ^^' I should probably thank Justin for helping me with the horizontal navigation. My first attempt makes failure look good. Hehe. He pwned me back, there.

It's still not quite finished yet. I'll probably tweak with the code a little as well as the header... the horizontal navigation needs shifting a bit to the right. =\ OCD to the rescue? I'll be scrapping cutenews completely. It's been pretty pointless anyway, but from this update onewards I'll make an archive of past updates. You can still comment on the little link below though, or used the conveniently placed tag-board. :D Full updates will probably be once every month, but with with quick updates in between.

You're probably wondering where the graphics are though, no?
I'm going to hide now and say I don't really know... I've a few things to add, up I'm umming and arring over some and need to run around making previews for the others. x.x' And it's already close to 11pm and I'm falling asleep. Fun fun.... I'll put them up tomorrow, I promise. I'll also make some icons if I find some nice bases... I've some of those to add up too. [:
